Musicians

Please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to the most useful webpage for us to sample your music and/or videos.

We will contact you if we feel your music is a good fit for our audience. We are often booked up and only do this once or twice a month, we can not book one percent of the great musicians out there.

We usually have touring artists join us for dinner before the show and when it serves them they stay in our guest room over night. Let us know your dietary preferences/restrictions. Please let us know how many people are traveling with you. We have occasionally hosted traveling trios but you might be sleeping on a couch. We try for three or four stars and your mileage may vary.  High speed WiFi is in house, some folks have skyped in via laptops sitting on chairs during shows, and you're welcome to use our internet.

We give all of the door to our featured artists, and guarantee a $100 minimum payment. You should sell some CDs and add to your mailing list.  We pass the hat before intermission and suggest a $12 donation.  Reality is t hat this is a house concert, a labor of love for us and gas money for you.  That much said the phone will not ring for you here, we'll respect your privacy and give you a safe, comfortable, happy and healthy refuge on the road.

Artists should plan to arrive here between 3pm and 5pm the day of the show if that is possible. Call us and let us know when to expect your arrival. Print out our direction page and take it with you.  GPS units will only get you to the bottom of our street, not to our house, and that is fine with us.  Please note that we have a cat - this is an allergy warning. The fish have never caused any problems.

Dinner for us and the featered artist or artists is 5:30, sound check is 6:30, guests start arriving at 7:00, I (Don Slepian) open the show at 8:00pm with a little relaxing music to soften them up, get them quiet, settled, and ready for you. Featured artists have two sets. First set is from 8:30 to 9:30 followed by a brief feeding frenzy at the refreshment table. Second set is from 9:45 to 10:20, times are quite flexible. We pick up any bodies on the floor and toss them out the door by 11pm. We flip the "Welcome" mat over to a curmudgeonly "Go Away". The next morning we make you breakfast if you wish and send you on your way.

Your hosts: Don SlepianDon Slepian and     Jan Julia.
